Job Description:

Even in its market infancy, there are already three times the Internet-of-Things (IoT) as there are mobile phones today. This number is growing exponentially and has already created a cybersecurity crisis. This is one of the most complex technology challenges business has seen and its driving a market pivot. We address this problem.

We are a Silicon Valley type startup based in the New York area with experienced management that has five successful build and exits. We are looking for a team member to contribute and execute our go-to-market plan.

First, please be a positive person. This is a fun and respectful environment that thrives on positivity. That said, this is not a role for a wallflower or “Yes” person. We expect you will be vocal to share and promote your ideas and opinions.

In this role, you will contribute to executing on the many facets of the company’s go-to-market plan. This includes tactical day-to-day execution and strategic planning of multiple areas including messaging, marketing, new offerings and fundraising.

Result management is critical and every project and initiative requires KPIs established along with ongoing and consistent measurement tracking.

Content creation and development is a big part of this role so please have excellent writing, presenting and story-telling skills. Be prepared to provide reference documents of your original content.

The role also involves people and full life-cycle project management that spans internal resources, vendors and contractors. Projects and initiatives include planning, hiring, managing, scheduling and tracking to achieve high quality results. Vendor and contractor relationships span a variety of creative and commercial provider types.

In this role you will also meet notable business and industry leaders and you should know how to operate and nurture these relationships.

Finally, since we are a startup you probably already know that our schedule is not 9-5 when we need to meet deliverable deadlines, attend meetings or travel for events. Please have a valid US, Canada or EU passport as some of our travels are international.

This role is mostly virtual with twice weekly on-sites at our offices in Jersey City, NJ for the time being.
