Technical Writer

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer who will join our team.

Required Skills:

  • Linux

  • REST Web Services
  • Firewalls – Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.

  • Container – Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Single Board Computers (SBC) – Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, Banana Pi, Odroid, etc.
  • Communicate in English during video and audio calls

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and imaginative writer who can clearly and simply tell a story that incorporates many complex and intricate elements. The story should assist quasi-technical people to understand a variety of complex technical concepts and how they interrelate to accomplish a user’s overall objectives. The project as a whole should create a well-documented and educational narrative that empowers the platform’s users to operate above and beyond their skills to implement and operate a global Communications and Security platform.

  • Evaluate and document requirements
  • Identify flows and processes
  • Prepare, coordinate and maintain technical documentation
  • Build and maintain technical and problem Knowledge Base
  • Prepare and maintain end-user documentation for technical and business users
  • Prepare HOWTOs, tutorials and troubleshooting guides for users

then you will be a great match for our Technical Writer role.

How we work:

  • Majority of the team works remotely, but we have offices in the US (New Jersey) and Poland (Szczecin).
  • We work in 2-week long sprints; at the beginning of a sprint, everyone commits to some work which is needed to deliver sprint goal. The sprint ends with a demo of work done by the team.
  • We plan and track our work in Jira.
  • We have daily meetings to coordinate our efforts.
  • We need a minimum commitment of 30+ hours / week.
